This coffee comes from the Volcancito Estate run by the Jose David Garrido family. The family farm functions in true estate fashion controlling every aspect of the processing from the harvest to the on-site wet mill to the dry mill situated at lower, warmer altitude...perfect for patio drying.
A subtly bright, well balanced cup with fruit and dark cocoa tones. One of the nicest of the Centrals. Cups like a very nice Kona at a much better price! Grown at high altitudes around 5000', this bean is not one to pass up.
Hard bean roasts well to all shades of darkness and stands by itself in the medium roast range as well. Fruity, sweet, rich, chocolate, malty, orange, dark chocolate..
100% Arabica
